America Moving Forward is a nonprofit business coalition (§501(c)(6)) that is committed to advancing innovative solutions to America’s infrastructure crisis. Founded by Macquarie Group, Transurban, Cintra and Goldman Sachs, our coalition has grown to include a host of construction, law and engineering firms as well as various national associations. We believe that America’s infrastructure is reaching a critical point in real need of a solution. Overcrowded roads are causing unprecedented traffic congestion and deteriorating bridges threaten our safety as we travel to work, school and home each day. This reality requires innovative solutions that ease the burdens on already overtaxed citizens and provide greater assets to cash-strapped governments.

Lacking badly needed funds, states continue to put off infrastructure repair or construction of much needed new roads – sometimes until it is too late. With over 30% of the bridges we drive on every day classified as structurally deficient, time is of the essence.

To address this problem, we urge meaningful collaboration between government and the private sector. Our goal is to help government partner with experienced private operators and investors to build innovative, cost-effective solutions to our nation’s growing infrastructure needs that free up money for important priorities like public transit, education and health care.
